My Fast Weight Loss, Cutting Cycle For the Holidays

So, you may think that this blog is run by some business-type who has never seen an anabolic steroid in his life.  You’d be wrong.  I’m just a guy.  I’ve done about 5 cycles of anabolic steroids of which a couple included clenbuterol for cutting acceleration.

I will post on this blog exactly what I’m doing for my cycle, and the dosage, any side effects I run into and the results.

Currently:

I’m 5′11″ and 242 lbs of mostly fat.  Just 1 year ago I was 195 lbs of pure muscle with a slow body fat percentage.  Then I got married, had a kid and a lot of business/work on my plant, and the rest is history.

While I know those are all excuses, it’s why I believe I let myself “get fat” again.  The other day my wife said something about my weight and it hit me, hard.  I don’t want to be ‘the fat guy’.  I’ve never been ‘that guy’ in my life and I won’t allow it to happen any more than it already has, now.

2 minutes later and I’m on the phone with my good friend and health-nut who has previously helped me with my bulking cycles.  I told him I have 2 weeks to lose as much flab as possible (big party for new years coming up with the wife’s extended family!), and how can we use AS to help.

Let me emphasise one of, if not THE most important parts of losing weight,

PHYSICAL EXCERCISE and
EATING SMART / HEALTHY

Steroids just amplify both of the aforementioned habits.  So, enough of the bullshit, let me tell you my plan and schedule and we’ll see where I end up in 2 weeks.  Right now I’m only gauging by weight loss as I don’t have ready access to body fat pinchers or even a tape measure right now.  (oh man, is this fat man’s laziness talking?)

My Diet:

What?  Proteins, and Carbs.  Separately and rarely mixed together in the same meal.

First Meal (Carbs):

When I wake up, I have a carb to give me the energy to kick things off.  I prefer a cup of oatmeal or a bowl of whole grain cereal.

-Then go to the gym for 1 hour-

2 hours later

Second Meal (Protein):
Usually a protein shake.

2 hours later

Third Meal (Carbs):

Sometimes I’ll throw in a PBJ sammich on whole grain oat bread and natural peanut butter, 1 cup of pasta.

2 hours later

Fourth Meal (Protein):
1 or 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts with nonfat cheese and some cajun spices.  Grilled in a Foreman grill that drains the excess fat.

2 hours later

Fifth Meal (Carbs):
1 cup of pasta or some steamed rice with a dab teriyaki sauce.

2 hours later

Sixth and Final Meal (Protein):
Protein shake, or hard boiled eggs x3 or x4, only eating about 25% of the yolks to keep the taste but rid of some of the fat and cholesterol.

My physical routine is cardio min. 30 minutes every single day.  I do swimming, stairstepper, bicycle or play basketball for this.  Weigh lifting, I do 2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on, 2 days off. for about 45 minutes per workout.

Beginning tomorrow I’m going to do 60 minutes of cardio every day, seperated into 2 sessions.

Steroids taking:

I started with an entire vial of testoviron depot 2 days ago using a 21 gauge needle, 1.5″ long into my ass. 2 days later, today, I banged 1ml of generic winstrol (stanazol) depot.  I’ll be injecting this daily for the first 2 weeks to kick off and accelerate my fat loss blitz period.  I’ll be taking generic nolvadex every other day throughout the cycle.

I’ll explain the rest of the cycle as I go along, it’s quite alot to write out.  The gist of it will be this 2 weeks of 1 whole vial of testoviron depot, and daily winny shoots, then it gets more complicated.  Feel free to post your comments and questions and I’ll get back to you here.

I don’t claim to be some bodybuilding wizard or even a master, my aim by posting my journal of this cycle is to motivate myself to get better results so I don’t let my readers down.

Clenbuterol is not an anabolic steroid (AS), but beta-2-antagonist. It is used in medicine as a cure for asthma. Since clenbuterol allows cells to process more oxygen it is used frequently for strength and endurance needy athletes. Clenbuterol is a fairly strong anti-catabolic / thermalgenic drug. What is Clenbuterol?

Drug Classification: Lipolytic (fat burner)

Clenbuterol (often called just “Clen”) is used by athletes and bodybuilders for it’s ability as a beta-2 agonist. It therefore stimulates your beta-2 receptors, which in turn help you to lose fat by allowing your body to release and burn more stored fat. Clen has been used for literally decades in the foreign veterinary world, for increasing the lean yield of livestock. It is clearly a very effective agent for this purpose, although its long half life and tendency to stay active in the body for long periods of time mean that vets in the United States aren’t able to use it. This is also the reason why (although it’s an asthma medication) it’s not available to asthmatics in the US of A. Albuterol is Clen’s shorter acting cousin, and that’s the FDA’s drug of choice here. But in the world of athletics, Clenbuterol has a much longer history of use.

Specifically, it’s used for fat loss, and since we’re talking about fat loss here, and this purpose is what it’s most often used for by athletes. Briefly stated, Clen is used as a repartitioning agent, and what this means is simply that it will increase your ratio of Fat Free Mass (FFM) to Fat Mass (FM) (1). When you use Clen, besides (of course) noticing some fat loss, you’ll feel your body temperature rise a bit, and your appetite will be slightly repressed. (2)

Anyway, as you may have guessed, because the FDA doesn’t allow Clenbuterol use in asthmatics, and the USDA doesn’t allow it in livestock, there aren’t a lot of human studies to really examine with regards to Clenbuterol. Unfortunately this makes research a bit difficult, as it’s well known that animals have a some important differences in their beta-receptor type and concentrations, but animal studies are still quite useful here.

Clen is quite anti-catabolic and/or anabolic in almost every (animal) study ever done on it, although this hasn’t been studied or confirmed in human studies (3). Also, a trend we see with Clenbuterol administration in animals is that the doses used are very high- more than anyone I’ve ever heard of actually taking. So, what I’m saying is that if Clenbuterol is anabolic or anti-catabolic in humans, only mild anabolic or anti-catabolic effects can realistically be expected. We can take a look at horses given a human-like dose of clen (slightly over 1mcg/lb x2 a day) and exercised for nearly human-like times (20mins, 3x a week) showed very significant decreases in %fat (-17.6%) and fat mass (-19.5%). Interestingly, this significantly increased (+4.4%) at week 6 (1). This has been one of the reasons I have never believed in the 2 weeks on and 2 weeks theory of Clenbuterol administration. Why wouldn’t we want to use it for at least 6 weeks, considering the fact that it seems to have some profound effects during later administration. A “second wind” so to speak (get it? “second wind”? it’s an asthma med! Ha! Ok…moving along…).

One of the primary drawbacks of Clen is that after a couple of weeks, it seems to stop working for most people. This is because it can cause a downregulation of pulmonary, cardiac and central nervous system beta-adrenergic receptors(4). This is why it seems to stop burning fat for most people at that point. To counteract this, you can take some Ketotifen, Benadryl, or Periactim every 3rd or 4th week that you remain on clen. These are prescription anti-histimines, so they’ll make you drowsy (take before bedtime).

Also, bear in mind that clen isn’t great for your heart, and can cause some issues there (enlargement of ventricles, etc…) but most studies showing Clen to cause heart problems are with animals, and even though the dosing is almost similar to what humans take (in some studies its within range of what would be double of a large human dose…). Again, it’s important to remember that animals have more beta-2 receptors and they cause certain event chains that humans’ beta-2 receptors may not, due to their relatively high concentrations. Clen causes cardiac hypertrophy to some degree, in some cases and even dose-dependent apoptotic and necrotic myocyte death (5). And since Clen depletes taurine (6) as do most if not all beta-agonists, you may want to supplement your Clen use with some Taurine.

One of the weirdest things about Clenbuterol is that even though it’s an asthma medication, studies have shown reduced exercise (cardiovascular) performance with Clen (7), but some also show that Clen can alleviate exercise induced asthma (8)!

Clen is one of the easiest drugs to find proper dosing for, and I’ve always made the same recommendations as to finding the appropriate dose for you. Basically, start with 20mcgs upon rising. If the side effects (possible anxiety, and shaking or sweating) aren’t too pronounced, then repeat that same dose again later in the day, and then once again in that day (again, if you find you can tolerate the effects). If you start experiencing intolerable sides, then decrease the does to where it’s tolerable. If not, then start increasing the dose more, very gradually.

Don’t go over 200mcgs, though…and keep your Blood Pressure at (or under) 140/90. If your Blood Pressure goes over that, reduce your dose. If side effects are intolerable, decrease your dose.
